RIDEAU had been in good form last prep and held that form beautifully over the spell. We resumed the I Am Invincible gelding over the 1,100m and it worked wonders. The 4YO proving too tough, jumping cleanly to find the front and never looking back to salute by 3L.

Since the move to our stable PEPPERDINE hasn’t put a foot wrong. The Pierro gelding making it three straight wins since moving up north. Drew awkwardly but Ashley Butler was proactive and went forward to sit outside the lead. In the straight our boy did the rest, finishing hard to go home by just over a length.
